I'm just waiting on the complaints that the facility isn't big enough, fancy enough, or connected to the BAC by a secret underground tunnel or Star Trek transporter.

I'm sure the gris trolls will tell us how their bubble is better too.
I was expecting it to have two fields inside it, how are they going to double rep?
And where’s the helipad?

This looks great though. This is a gamechanger in recruiting and practice/prep as the season gets into the colder months.

And it’ll be great to be nicer than the griz’s and only a few months behind it.
Or will it be behind it, last I heard that one isn't moving too fast.

Great news!

Is the timing of this announcement right before the Brawl deliberate?

Those guys have started but have hit several delays, supposedly be ready by spring/summer. Ours would be ready by end of season/playoff time next year if all went as planned.

Sort of. It was just voted on by the Board of Regents, which always has one of their sets of meetings the week of the game on the campus that is hosting the game.

If it's secret, how do you know we don't have that. My guess is that is what the 3 million is for. Maybe Elon is going to build a boring machine tunnel that will run Teslas back and forth.
Hope so ..my stock will go up… 🤞🏻

A whole lot of folks around here and even in this thread have complained about wanting to donate to this and wondering why it wasn't open and public. Here's your chance. Here it is again, the link to donate and get this thing finished: Indoor Practice Facility Donations

Allows you do a one time donation or name your donation amount and split it up across payments. Let's get this thing done BobcatNation!

I thought MSU had permanent lights first. ??? UM brought in portable lights a couple times for playoffs.

By my estimate there’s been close to $60 million in athletic facilities and athletic facility-related projects at MSU since 2009.
2010 - EZ project $11 million
201? - stadium lights $?
2??? - track improvements $?
2??? - scoreboard $?
2??? - Fieldhouse improvements
2021 - Bobcat Athletic Complex $18 million
2024 - scoreboard $?
2024 - Indoor Training Facility $25 million

Anyone know those years and amounts?

This will be a wonderful facility and I hope it can get some community use-- Maybe the City of Bozeman could kick in the last $3 million to make that happen.

I do regret that we won't have a 100-yard football field though-- with a full 100-yard field plus two 10-yard endzones could be used for HS football when the weather is really inclement-- or even regulation indoor soccer.

But still this will be a great facility and a great addition to the community.

Yes. We beat them to have lights.

If we're adding up $ don't forget replacing the field turf whatever year that was.

I love that this happened on the eve of Cat/griz. Not only are they behind the eight ball on building their balloon building, but we make this big announcement just before they host!

How does the loss yesterday impact the donations for the last $3 million

It doesn’t set it back in any meaningful way. The facility will be built and construction will start in the first three or four months of the new year.

Not indoor related but infrastructure related.

Also not indoor facility related, but there's a 5 story (ish) Marriott going up by the tennis courts. Marriott will own/run the hotel, MSU will lease the land to them and MSU needs get priority. There's a lot going on around there!

The loss only fills me with more resolve and will not keep me from donating, I’m sure that’s true of many others.
