They're always recruiting, but most teams have more time than MSU right now...we've got a title to win!GrizgradCatFan wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 11:41 amI just saw the shiz picked up a big receiver 6'3 190lbs and they don't have a QB for next year even decided yet. We need guys with size like that. I also see they offered a 6'7 300+ offensive and defensive line guys and both guys have been offered by everybody else in the big sky, but not seeing MSU. Make me wonder how hard our guys are recruiting or if they are not seeing what everyone else is seeing. We have some big gaps to fill next year and maybe after the championship game we can pick and choose a little, but always makes me a little nervous.

No new announcements for over an hour now, so I'm going to head out and get a coffee. If someone else would like to monitor the Bobcat twitter feed, that would be awesome.

Is Bear the only guy remaining to sign? I don't remember if PWO's sign something...otherwise it'd be Abshire, the Perkins, and Bear?

Don't know if this belongs here or not but it sounds like we lost a good one.
Timberline running back Taylor Marcum will walk on at Boise State next year, choosing the Broncos over a full-ride scholarship from Montana State.

Anaya signed in December. Waiting on Bear Old and any surprises. PWOs don't sign anything but they are announced as well.

A couple more big bodies one each offense and defense would sure be nice.

Transfers will come over the next 5 months. Expect multiple transfer additions to the defensive line, an offensive tackle, safety, linebacker, and possibly another RB. Spring will set the roster depth and attrition will likely happen soon after for a handful of older players on the bubble.

"Expect" or "Hope for"? A lot of people have talked about how we should go after transfers for the OL/DL but is that realistically going to happen or are we just identifying areas of need as fans? Sometimes it's hard to determine the difference between regular fan talk and insider fan talk.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:54 pmTransfers will come over the next 5 months. Every year they have brought in transfers at the spots they either need depth or potential starters. My list is what I know they are looking for and the fan base needs to have the mindset that the transfer portal does not have a signing period. The light is always on.coloradocat wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 1:16 pm"Expect" or "Hope for"? Tre Webb was added in the summer last year and he was one of our best players. Blake Hehl came in May or June and he was a starter for half the year.
Just know this...scholarships are being saved or allocated for transfers pre-spring ball and post.
