Anyone who is frustrated with our play calling in the red zone would lose their ever loving minds if they were Incarnate Word fans. First and goal with a minute left, that play calling was atrocious!!

Considering all that happened this week, Mellott’s first start…in the playoffs. Things worked out pretty well. Cats have a real shot next week. Sam Houston’s pass D isn’t good and they need to find a way to take advantage of it. Can’t wait!

I was in the stadium right when the doors opened. QBs practiced throws into and against the wind. Looked nearly impossible to throw into the wind. Significant left to right movement there.

Underrated play in the 2nd quarter was a 3rd and long in the red zone. Instead of risking an interception, they ran to the left with Mellott. He didn't score, but the ball was placed on the left hash, making that FG MUCH easier.

Mellott is going to be able to throw on SHSU. The wind was brutal.

And we got almost all of our points going into the wind-crazy. I never would have believed that.

ICW play calling in final four plays was horrible. Seems like any team can have bad play calling. Why not throw into the end zone? Stop the clock if you miss. Two short passes and run made no sense
