Crazy game!

If not for the Fargodome North Dakota State probably loses this game.

Most of us I have pre-ordained Missouri state to win this game. Does anybody have solid information of the UT Martin quarterback? Is he done or is he playing?

I can see UT Martin stretch in the field with nothing to lose and torching Missouri states secondary. Other than that I don’t think they have a chance.

Looks like Missouri State is a 16 pt favorite. Ewu is 5.5 and Sdsu favored by 17.

Griz fans are pissed.
Probably because the only beat one team with a winning record all season. Unfortunately, that was the Cats but it isn’t like they had an amazing schedule with amazing wins. Even the UW game now looks pathetic. EWU most likely at home, then JMU and NDSU on the road…….I will be surprised if they even make it past EWU.

I would LOVE to see EWU beat them again. But idk if ewu even gets past UNI today. We shall see.

14-9 MSU midway 2nd quarter. Both squads look decent with playmakers on both sides of the ball from what I can tell

Running the ball against Mo St will be a challenge.

UT Martin got 3 turnovers off MSU I believe. This is how upsets happen.

More bad officiating too. Ball was on the 24 going in for UT-Martin and D PI is called. Officials move the ball 15 yards to the 9 instead of half the distance #-o

At what point do they go half the distance?

If the full penalty exceeds half the distance. So 15 yarders are the 30, 10 yarders the 20, 5 yarders the 10. It ended up not mattering but still pretty awful.

Not a mistake, that was the correct spot. Pass interference works differently from most penalties.

Not in college, I don't think. In the NFL it's a spot foul but it's 15 yards at this level.

Correct, but the other poster said it was a mistake to award 15 yards instead of half the distance to the goal when in fact the refs called it correctly.

Not in high school and college i dont believe. If the PI occurs in the end zone in college and the ball is snapped between the 2 and 17, it's placed at the 2. Outside the 17 it's 15 yards. However the PI happened outside the goal line, therfore it should be half the distance. Perhaps I'm mistaken but that's how I've always interpreted the rule.

I looked up the rule book and the only mention of the penalty being half the distance is if the ball was already at or inside the 2-yard line when the call was made.

We're going to have to pass the ball well to beat them. Pass on 1st down, get McKay on the move. If we can't it'll be on the D.
