Do they have a list for the Buck Buchanon and Walter Payton awards? Have been trying to find one.

Looks like they have the pre-season lists, but no updated lists that I can see.chadtothebone wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 10:39 amDo they have a list for the Buck Buchanon and Walter Payton awards? Have been trying to find one.

Awesome. Troy on the Buck. Isaiah on the Walter. Blake on the Jerry. Within a very good team, you must also have this — star players win games. Can we pause a moment and give Jeff Choate a Bobcat cheer for loading up the cupboard. I can.

Choate left the program in a much better place than when he got here.Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 4:32 pmAwesome. Troy on the Buck. Isaiah on the Walter. Blake on the Jerry. Awesome for Blake to be put on the list. I wonder if a kicker or punter has ever won the award.

Way to go BLAKE!
PS: Was thrilled to see coach Choate last Saturday before the game and was able to speak with him. Thanked him for all he did for Bobcat football and REALLY thanked him for 4-0.

This was the first time the program has been handed off in good shape since...?rivercat wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 4:51 pmChoate left the program in a much better place than when he got here.Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 4:32 pmAwesome. Depending on criteria, it could be any HC after Solomonson.
Hysell definitely left the program better than he inherited from Earle.
Kramer finally broke the streak and made 3 playoff appearances in his last 5 years. Then came the legal problems.
Ash took a program that had success on the field and cleaned up the problems which is exactly what was needed. He is the winningest coach in program history. His last 3 years the on-field success declined but he continued to run a clean program with a lot of academic success.

Lubick inherited a pretty good program from Holland.
