The "streaker" looked like he had shorts on.
Yes he had shorts and shoes on. Happened right after the TD to start the 4th quarter, prior to the PAT. He ran from the SW end towards the NE corner and as he was just about past the Cats bench, one of our players, a safety, tripped him or knocked him on his ass.
It was Charles Brown and Vigen chewed his a** out.
Yes Vigen chewed him out. But I saw #5. Could be wrong, though.
Charles Brown is #5

We have two #5’s. Charles Brown is one of them.

Eastern's Defense is not gonna have any problems stopping our offense.
They couldn’t stop Weber😁

I am super curious how many of the last minute scratches were planned. I wonder if the backups got a full week at #1 or if they were just thrown to the fire.

You were right, Manning says on Twitter that it wasn't him, it was Brown.
Both wear #5.

I'm not sure any but Thomas were planned. O'Reilly, Session and Benson were all announced as starters 20 minutes prior to game time. I'm guessing Thomas was planned because he was running the team's Instagram story during warm-ups.

It sure didn't look planned on the field.

What a weird game that was, and in some ways it was a game that I expected to see. I predicted 28-13 win, and that was based on a history of watching the Bengals come and play the Cats with these kinds of games as the result. We won, yes, but it was ugly.

ISU threw every QB and future recruit at the Cats in rapid succession to screw with their head, and it seemed to be working. But, on a closer look I think our problems were pretty simply a result of bad alignments, slow reactions, and arm tackling due to fatigue.

#22 had some game and would run through the first arm tackle, and Danny U who had a good game learned time and again that just throwing your arms wide into a gap is NOT filling the gap and owning it. We missed Callahan big time in this game!!!

Troy and Ty the TnT combination played well too, but I think the quick pace put them into a little distress but not like the newbies that were in. The BYE week comes at the right time, and there is some rest that's needed and some healing as well.

This last stretch is going to be a gut check. I'm more concerned about Matt's psyche than I am his ability. He seems to go flat at times, or he seems to go off at times. That I think is mojo, mental confidence or whatever but the team will go as far as he can take them.

(I can't comment about the ZackM commentary as my thoughts are known here...but.)

We got another win, 7-1 tied for first, and now a bye. All in all, a great weekend to be a Cat!!! =D^

Vigen said the Benson injury happened in the walk thru.
I don't know about the others.

Hope it’s something minor. Not saying anything others haven’t said already, but we really missed him today.
I think it was Vim that said during fall camp that Benson was one of, if not the most important player on D and really makes it all work (paraphrasing a bit). Him doing what he does in the middle allows the ends to tear it up and the linebackers to do their thing.

Just have to re-post this quote from last July.

Rob Phenicie talking about movement on the ISU football staff right now. Officially announcing former Montana State assistant Byron Hout as the new defensive line coach.

"By all accounts, he was their best coach. Everybody was like, I can't believe they let their best coach go."

If he was our best coach, how come the best job he could get was at Idaho State? :-k

Phenicie will be standing next to Petrino in the unemployment line soon.

Hout is an exceptional coach, but Phenicie’s statement in ridiculous.
