Sorry to hear this. I didn't know Kittie and we butted heads now and then but this is sad. Is his family ok (like financially to pay for a funeral)? if there's a crowd funding site for his family please share, I'd like to contribute if they are in need.

This is terrible news. He was a fantastic contributor to this board.

As mentioned, if there is any type of crowd funding that anyone is aware of please share.

RIP

Wow, sad news, thanks for letting us know. Certainly was a great, long time poster, and obviously a great Bobcat fan. RIP KittieKop, my condolences to his family and friends.

Curt was a great guy. Had the pleasure of knowing him for the last five years; was very upset to learn he passed. He will be greatly missed.

RIP, i enjoyed my anonymous interaction with him on this board. I know nothing else of him other than that he was a great bobcat fan and a reasonable human. Hope the same can be said for most of us when this post hits someday. Again, RIP kittiekop.

Hi all, I'm Curt's son and his oldest child. Our family appreciates everyone's comments and condolences. I grew up for as long as I can remember going to every home Bobcat game with my dad, all the way until I graduated from MSU last spring. It was one of the biggest bonding places for father and son. He loved coming home after work to destress and hop on to talk all things cats on here with a great community, even through the butting of heads that occasionally happens. He even made it to a couple of home games this year through his treatments, some of the only times he mustered up the strength to leave the house for any significant length of time after he began his cancer treatments in June. Our family will be attending the game this weekend, because of course he'd be pissed if we didn't use the tickets!

His funeral will be held next Monday at 11am at the fairgrounds in Helena, all are welcome and invited to join the celebration of his life. Our family has requested bobcat gear to be worn, of course!

Sorry for your loss young man! What a great way to honor your father by doing something he loved to do! I hope you and your family find a little peace this weekend! Bobcat Nation is behind you all!
