Idaho State this Saturday at 1:00

The Bengals are only 1-5. They beat UC-Davis at home 27-17, barely lost to SAC 23-21 at home and lost to UND 35-14 at home. Road games were 49-10 loss to Nevada, which is 5-1 in the MWC with wins over Cal and Boise State, 48-17 at NAU and 31-10 at PSU.

Only one common opponent of PSU. Both games were in Portland, so they're comparable a little bit that way. But ISU coughed up the ball five times, so that kinda skews things unless they do the same in Bozeman. PSU had a pair of TOs, but also had three 70+ yard drives for TDs. ISU had a short TD drive after PSU got in a big hole and had to punt out of its own EZ. They really got rolled at NAU giving up over 600 yards. They scored first, but it was all NAU after that and it was 48-10 late in the game when ISU mustered up another TD in last couple minutes.

Malakai Rango is their leading rusher at 199 yards on the year. 4.2 avg.
QB Hunter Hays has 5 TDs and 7 INTs with a 110 rating.
Tanner Conner is No. 10 in the BSC in receiving yards per game at 60.5.

They beat UC-Davis, so obviously they've got something. ISU defended the pass very well in that game allowing the Aggies 15-35-3, 188 yards, but didn't do well against the run as they gave up 231 yards and 5.9 ypc.

ISU got a 71-yard TD pass on its second drive. Next possession came off an INT that they returned to the Davis 39 and they scored 5 plays later. Davis drove to the ISU 16 and got picked off early in the third quarter. After Davis cut it to 27-17, ISU impressively held the ball for the final 6:48 of the game.

I think the ISU offense will be like a turnover buffet line and our defense will have whatever they want in any quantity they want. I predict ISU will be skittish to put the ball in the air after a couple of picks, but they'll have no choice if they want the score to stay close.

Our D will be our D.

Our offense is going to right the ship before Eastern.

All this equals another yawner at Bobcat Stadium (which is awesome).

Thanks Tom!

It sure seems like the MSU run game is going to feast on the ISU defense. We shall see.

It looks like ISU plays perfectly into our strengths. They are a turnover machine on offense and that's our defense's specialty. They can't defend the run and that's what we do best on offense. This game should be a good one for us to work on some things coming out of WSU and preparing for EWU.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I expect a whole lot of pressure on their QB.
