The Official-unofficial Bobcat-Weber st gameday thread
I think it was Jason McEndoo that coined the phrase "big man month" to speak to the importance and the challenge of the football the Cats would be playing in the month of November!
November always has the griz on the calendar and it's always the BSC final game for the Cats, often determining whether or not there would be Championship football in the future for the Cats.
Well, "BIG MAN MONTH" has started a few weeks earlier for the Cats this year...and it's this week!
With 6 weeks down and the Cats sitting on top of a 5-1 record thanks in large part to a softer front loaded schedule, this week we've turned the corner into what is going to be a very different, and far more challenging 5 game remainder of the BSC season for the Cats.
1. Weber
2.Idaho State
3. Bye week
4.Easter Washington
5. Idaho
6. griz
All line up to be a gauntlet these Cats get to face in order to face a BSC Championship and a post season bid. Winning is never easy on the road, and these games with EWU, Weber, and the griz will all be on the road. We get the Idaho's at home and have the best chance to win both.
In fact, it's not impossible that the Cats could indeed win all the remaining games, but it's likely we face a loss against 1 of the 3 road teams. How will this team do now that the competition level is ramped up? What adversity lies ahead? How does this balanced Cat team stack up to other great teams with 2019 being the closest comparison?
Who knows??? But, today we start to get the answers and see which team is the BIGGEST MAN MONTH team in the BSC???
Tee it up, and let the fun begin! Let's go BOBCATS!!!

Did anyone find out if the team flew down or took the bus? Sorry if I missed it in another thread.

I would hope so. It's not a long drive but on a short week you need all the time you can get. You'd think the program could afford to fly to every out of state game at this point.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Yep they’re like a low scoring, 24-21 kinda game. Which I could see. But I hope not!

Re: The Official-unofficial Bobcat-Weber st gameday thread
Bobcats started the day as -1.5 and are currrently +1.5. If you were confident in -1.5, you should go bet again at +1.5. It moved 3 whole points today alone. Pretty crazy.BigBruceBaker wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 3:24 pmBetting line was -1.5 for bobcats. So Bobcats 1.5 favorites. I know….because I bet it lol. It moved a bit today. Started this morning as Cats -1.5. By this afternoon it was Weber -1.5. The o/u seemed to hold throughout the day at 45.5.BigBruceBaker wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 3:24 pmBetting line was -1.5 for bobcats. So Bobcats 1.5 favorites. I know….because I bet it lol. I don’t know how you people in the Mountain time zone are handling waiting for this game. It’s on at 7pm here on the Left Coast and let’s just get things going!
Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings
What a ride

Same here. Flag flying in Portland on a Friday morning before I work seemed odd but it’s a national game!Catfanatic84 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 9:41 amI've put my flag out....seems strange on a Friday...but it is gameday! Go Cats!!

Over under seems about right. But the points are too close. Should be Weber-3 or so.ilovethecats wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 5:03 pmIt moved a bit today. Started this morning as Cats -1.5.
