Weber State viewing

The game is on ESPNU so it should be pretty widely available to folks. If you don't normally get ESPNU you can subscribe to Hulu or YoutubeTV-I think they both have one-week free trials-just don't forget to unsubscribe after the game.

I might be in Anaconda Friday night. What establishment there would likely have the game on?

Haufbrau or Donovan’s. Maybe Club Moderne but they are Griz fans.

If you have a subscription to ESPN on cable, can you watch espnu through the ESPN app?

Anyone know if there any bars in Boise that are bobcat friendly that typically shows the games?

I'm trying to remember why this game was moved to a Friday night?

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Because ESPN picked it up and wanted it for network coverage. Part of the deal with ESPN and the Big Sky was for two network games.

Oh, duh, okay. I always mix up ESPNU and ESPN+.

Parilla grill in Boise often has the Bobcat games

Yes, I believe their Bobcat alums and they have a great Cat/griz party.

Yes, but test it before. They will ask you for your cable company and then route you to the cable website to sign in. You have to have a username and password for your cable account.

Not necessarily the case. ESPNU is on an upgrade package with Spectrum. Easy to add and cancel next day though.

Like others have said ESPNU may or may not be part of a sports package, check with your provider first and foremost to see if you can just add it for a month.

Otherwise get a free trial to a number of streaming services. This is from Wikipedia:

Sling TV Sports Extra Package
YouTube TV base package
Hulu + Live TV base package
DirecTV Stream Max package

What I do for Root sports and will do the same for ESPNU is find a family member/friend who has DirecTV and either will go to the games or do not stream and get their login information, a pain I know but it works. My folks have DirecTV and do not stream, do not how to and will not learn so I have their DirecTV login information and use that. Just another option!

You can get a month of Sling TV for $10. If you add the sports package $11 you get ESPNU. So in essence I paid $21 to watch two games. Cats vs Weebs and EWU vs UM. Cheaper than a ticket to drive to a game. FWIW I'm an hour from Cheney so could have driven. I realize some people don't like it and I would prefer that every game was on ESPN+ which I also pay for, so my football addiction is going to cost me $28 this month. To me it's worth it.

For comparison I used to live on a hill outside of Belt in the 80s. If I got my radio in just the right spot I could listen, with a lot of static) to Dean Alexander on KBOZ(?) and the Bobcat BB games. (FB games were on a Great Falls radio station, BB games were not.) TV was not an option! We've come a long ways since then and I'm grateful. Even though I'm old I still try to keep my grumbling to a minimum.

Does anyone know how the BSC splits up the additional revenue from moving this game to Friday?

Exactly what I think every time I see it. He's yawning...must be bored with the fluff games. Ready for some action. 😁
