I am also a bit leery of predicting a blowout. On paper, my head says we should probably control this game from beginning to end. However, I also have a sneaky feeling Barney was playing around with some things in pre season and really focusing on this one game to start the race to the Big Sky title. Obviously that doesn't mean they weren't trying to win the non conf games, but I think we might see some new things and maybe more focus. I was just curious about the claim that "cats will struggle". Struggle where? What evidence of that other than the fact that anything can happen in sports?
The game could be very close. And if it is I'll come away a bit disappointed. We have more talent across the board. For this team to take the next step, we need to not only win these games, but win them going away. That's what I expect.

Someone please go forth and seek PSU sports writer Joe Terry's article in 406 Sports. It gives a pretty good breakdown. There are some points that are sobering and might make some reconsider a blowout.

That article doesn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Davis Alexander is their offense. Sort of like Sneed was the Griz offense 2 straight years. I will be surprised if we give up 20. Our D is fast, disciplined and is going to make life tough on Alexander. And we're going to put up points.
