few things to note........
- we both play @EWU & CP at home
- um plays 9 consecutive weeks, starting next week
- um is on the road the 2 weeks prior to the brawl
I concur that how we did vs the Cowboys and how um did vs the Huskies won't have much to do with how the Brawl turns out, because both teams made a great showing and the first game of any teams season isn't very telling.
- I think by Oct 16 the BSC will start to 'shake out'
A little bit off topic but......my biggest ? at this point is.....I'm assuming that since the CATS have proven they can throw the ball efficiently (MSU has the highest passing efficiency in the BSC) will teams now stop loading the box, AND, when they do can we run the ball for 300 yards if needed? Time will tell. GO CATS!

MSU would be 2-0 (dont play Davis), griz 0-1(they dont play Weber or Davis), Weber 1-1 (dont play UM). Cats win the tie breakers and the auto bid.CatBot wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 3:37 pmWhat if...
Davis loses to Weber but wins out otherwise (10-1, FBS win),
Weber loses to Cats but wins out otherwise (9-2, JMU win),
MSU loses to EWU but wins out otherwise (9-2, Brawl win),
dUMb loses to Cats but wins out otherwise (10-1, P5 win, but another end of year humiliation)
...who get's the auto bid with a 4-way tie at 7-1?
...who gets a first round bye?
...does EWU get in as a 5th team at 8-3 (5-3) with an FBS and MV win?

Our 1st team going 50% completions most of today won't keep teams from loading the box.RickRund wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 4:58 pmYep, I think that will happen... Teams will have to be honest. The MICKSTER wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 3:04 pmFYI....

You have to put that completion percentage into context. It was WINDY.lutecat wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 4:40 pmOur 1st team going 50% completions most of today won't keep teams from loading the box.RickRund wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 4:58 pmYep, I think that will happen... I truly hope all teams load the box. Cats will score a lot of points.
