Re: Stadium Music
I wonder why they always play Livin on a Prayer. It's NOT a pump up song, it's a waste of a time out song.

Led Zeppelin Kashmir needs to be on any respectable playlist for stadium football.

Choate that was the only song that he added to the playlist while he was here. Joker and The Thief have been played right during kickoff since Ash left.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 9:46 pmI was bummed there was no Kickstart My Heart on a kickoff this game.
Was very glad to hear Hells Bells!!

I heard about 3 seconds of freaks
I swear the crowd got more pumped for those 3 seconds than soooooo many other songs, honestly need to play that more for general pump up

Can we add favorite microbeers to this thread. Both subjects last quite a while.

Enter Sandman when the team took the field. Stole that from Virginia Tech.
Seven nation army by The White Stripes is always played too.
I was a bit surprised that the Brooks and Dunn song and the Bobcat video - ‘Proud of the House we built’ wasn’t played. I’ve never heard it played at other stadiums and was kind of a tradition at MSU.

I agree .. I really missed Proud of the House we built. I though some of the first half music was a little lackluster.

Re: Stadium Music
They did a 9/11 tribute instead of the house we built video. I’m ecstatic about that. The house we built has been over played. We should have a new run out video every week. And I really hope we continue with Enter Sandman entrance. We could also steal the tunnel walk from Nebraska and have a live feed of the team leaving the locker room. Mesh the two and it could be epic.

Re: Stadium Music
We need to put speakers on top of the BAC pointed at the South end of the field. You barely could hear the music at times.

Re: Stadium Music
I was happy with all the music. And I loved that they started Hells Bells later into the intro so that the guitar riff is playing with the bells, rather than just the bells dinging. That one was perfect!

I know some don't like Sweet Caroline but it does get the crowd, and mainly the students, involved!

Take a fan poll on game day. Guarantee more like it than don’t. Even old guys like me still enjoy.BacardiCat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 8:06 amI know some don't like Sweet Caroline but it does get the crowd, and mainly the students, involved!
I appreciate what the event organizers do and how they try to appease a broad audience of different demographics….and having led some efforts in other areas of life, I learned you will NEVER EVER EVER please everyone…always someone to complain.
A fun thing to try would be have everyone put their name in an online pool to pick the “fan song of the day”. One person’s name is drawn each home game week and that fan gets to pick a song to be played between Q1 and Q2….then fans get to “cheer” it up or “boo” it down. Fan picker has their mug shot on the big screen while it plays!

Re: Stadium Music
Haha that would be an awesome idea!! On a side note the music at the Wyoming game was not nearly as good as ours. Didnt really ever see the crowd get into it there. I think they are doing a fantastic job at our home games
