Isaiah is going to obliterate all of the rushing records if he stays healthy, including single season if we make any kind of playoff push. Maybe not single season rushing TD's though.

The fact that Troy accomplished most of his offensive production on these lists in a single year is still amazing.

Sort of two+ years, I think. Running back in ‘17, QB in ‘18, and Wild(Bob)cat in ‘19. And I wished him two carries at the end of the Wyoming game. Just two, please? Okay, just one?coloradocat wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 5:22 pmThe fact that Troy accomplished most of his offensive production on these lists in a single year is still amazing.

Me too. One carry will be enough for Bobby to prepare all week for him.

100% agree! On a serious note, Do we think we will actually see it at all in the next three games? I would 100% do it even if he doesn't touch the ball - because other opposing coaches literally will have to waste at least a little practice time preparing for that. Then of course there's the option to actually have him run the ball two or three times? I mean yes - there is a slight risk of injury there but TA was in the game playing his ass off on the very last series against ISU with the game was over... so obviously that was a risk as well.coloradocat wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 9:11 pmI'd prefer a play or two against Idaho just to mess with Bobbi.catatac wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 8:39 pmHis first play on offense this year will be in Missoula I believe.Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 6:47 pmSort of two+ years, I think. Bobby pulled that same crap in his post game presser against Sac, super weird how after every loss it’s never the in game adjustments or the personnel match ups. It’s always that he was not prepared for them or didn’t expect a certain look… how many weeks does Bobby need to beat a decent team?

Interesting playing mind games with opposing coaches like that..love it. Paint the scenario..tight ball game, 2nd down and 5 yards to go…late in the game with Bobcats driving on 15 yard line. All of a sudden TA trots into the backfield behind Mellot and Ifanse…..as a minimum you would think the opposing coaches would be like “holy s$/-“ running down the sideline yelling “timeout” “timeout”.catatac wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 10:19 am100% agree! I wish we ran Tommy more… it’s the “if it ain’t broke why fix it” saying for me… he’s getting great yardage. They know he’s going to run it… but they still aren’t stoping him.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 12:30 pmI think a Troy/Tommy backfield would be great. I think we need to put Troy in the offensive backfield at least a couple plays next week. It will go a long ways in Haucks head.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 12:30 pmI think a Troy/Tommy backfield would be great. If worried about an injury to Troy, put him in to run a wheel route and pass it to him. Even that would get Hack and other coaches worried and spending time in practice to be ready for him on offense.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 1:07 pmYeah, even as a decoy he's got a ton of value.seataccat wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 1:03 pmI think we need to put Troy in the offensive backfield at least a couple plays next week. Diamond offense. Ifanse, mellot, Andersen and Fitzgerald with McCutcheon out in space on a cornerback about 180 pounds.

I would love to see them get more creative with something like this. You can still be a run heavy offense, just don’t do the same “I formation run up the middle” every 4 out of 5 plays... ha.

Ifanse up two spots to fourth in career rushing. Needs just 17 yards for third. 2,962.
