2021 Game Times
I didn't see this posted elsewhere so pardon the replication if it was. Saw some more times listed on https://msubobcats.com/sports/football/schedule that I just noticed, particularly Gold Rush so figured I'd update this as we go since people seem to ask every year.

Sept. 25 @ Portland State - TBD

Re: 2021 Game Times
Remind me again why Gold Rush is the only night game every year. Is it the whiny homeowners near the stadium or is it tv scheduling? Neither seems like a legitimate reason.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I hate having to drive back home after a night game and I hate hotels even more. Not sure if that plays into their reasoning though.coloradocat wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 2:03 pmRemind me again why Gold Rush is the only night game every year. Re: 2021 Game Times
I've heard that from multiple fans and that makes sense. When I come up for games my home base is Billings so it's a little bit of a drive at night but not nearly as bad as a lot of people have it. Night games are so fun though! We generally play at least 9 other day games so it would be nice to show off the stadium under the lights more than once before December.AFCAT wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 2:06 pmI hate having to drive back home after a night game and I hate hotels even more. People seem to do it just fine for high school football games all fall.coloradocat wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 2:14 pmI've heard that from multiple fans and that makes sense. 8 PM start time at Weber State? That’s like some of the PAC-12 games I try to watch but end up falling asleep during the 4th quarter. Of course that would never happen if the Cats were playing!

That's the ESPN-U game and it's on a Friday. If the idea for being on ESPN-U is for exposure it might work out well for west coast viewers.

Re: 2021 Game Times
With the price of hotels in Bozeman ($287 a night for the Super 8?) I'm glad there aren't too many night games. It's a 5 1/2 hour drive home for us. We are taking the camper for Gold Rush and staying out in Gallatin Canyon.
