This is what 'push back' looks like, and it's just starting. Dumping on ushers like some did is bullsh*t. A simple 'no' would have sufficed.

Completely agree. Same can be said for your mother/grandmother asking you to take your shoes off at the door when entering their house. You show respect and follow the rules even though we don’t agree with it.wbtfg wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 10:15 amWell said.91catAlum wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 9:28 amSorry for your experience but it doesn't fix it to shame All of Bobcat Nation.mdpcat69 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 3:17 pmJust wanted to vent on how rude people where at this scrimmage! SHE DID NO MAKE THE RULE! A bunch of the usher staff and event staff have quit today because of this! Hope you that made comments are happy!! We support MSU, have been season ticket holders and boosters! Never have we or she been treated so poorly!
Good luck with more events in the future!!
BOBCAT NATION should be ashamed!
I think wearing a mask outdoors while also social distancing is completely stupid and anti- science. However, when I got tickets to the scrimmage, I am effectively agreeing to the rules put in place by MSU, which included wearing a mask in the stadium. And I did so despite how I personally feel about it. If you can't live with the rules put in place, you shouldn't have been at the scrimmage. And you certainly shouldn't be taking out your beliefs on the ushers.
You shouldn't have been at the scrimmage if you didn't want to follow the rules that were put in place well in advance.

It makes no sense to battle over such petty items. Whether you believe a mask is needed or not, just wear the mask if that is what the rules required and was the understanding when you got the ticket. It is just wearing a mask for a coupe of hours. Let’s spend more time discussing issues of real importance.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 7:02 amI wouldn’t have told your wife to shut up or f-off that’s for sure, that is ridiculous for people to do as she probably was just following her instructions. I would have told her I’m not wearing a mask though. The mandate has been lifted, its a state run school ran, with our tax dollars, so I’m not understanding why MSU told your wife to tell people to put masks on? Private companies can do what they want, but a public university shouldn’t be telling people what to do as it is paid for by the residence of this state. Sounds to me it was another stupid move imposed on MSU by the liberal mob that runs Bozeman these days. They are just pathetic people who have zero business being in public office.mdpcat69 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 3:17 pmJust wanted to vent on how rude people where at this scrimmage! I would also say BN as a whole is a good group of people having to get to know quite a few members, so casting a blanket on here doesn’t make much sense.

I worked in Big Pharma for years in hundreds of medical clinics/hospitals along with training from specialists, including virologists, for education. It’s not the same thing.
I've heard a doctor use the same analogy.
It is an opinion based on no science proof. No big deal, though, sorry I was harsh.
Anyhow, I hear they are adjusting the dosing on the fly again for these brand new patented mRNA vaccines. Unreal. These same “experts” who said 70 year-old generic HCQ is unsafe (lupus patients have been taking it since the 1950s, that’s how “unsafe” it is) now say mRNA vaccines and the J&J vax developed 27 minutes ago are totally safe. At the same time they are still figuring out dosing for the mRNA and pulled the J&J vax out of circulation for a few days.
This vaccine rollout is as seat-of-pants guesswork with human subjects on experimental vaccines, yet I see people all over Facebook bragging about being test monkeys. I don’t get it. Everyone I know from the Big Pharma days knows this is a cash grab and totally rushed. This time the taxpayers are footing the bill which is even better because Pfizer, J&J, and Moderna keep getting paid as more and more people get the “free” shot. There aren’t billions to be made prescribing an old, off-patent generic medicine used as a prophylactic treatment along with zinc, but there are billions to be made with on-patent experimental vaccines. Enjoy the show! I am.

In my Fat bodied mind...This has NOTHING to do with if the vaccine works, or if masks work or not... It has EVERYTHING to do with being respectful and kind to people that are just doing their jobs!!! All they were doing was asking them to put on a mask that is required inside the games. My son and I went to a Utah Jazz game 3 weeks ago, and we had to wear our masks the entire game (unless eating or drinking) the ushers would come by and remind us "You need to wear your mask" or "The mask needs to be over your nose as well". Nobody seemed to have an issue, and all of them did it when asked... Sure, some would say "This is f-ing stupid" to themselves after the usher walked away, but they all just said "OK" or "Got it, Sorry" to the ushers because they realized THEY WERE JUST DOING THEIR JOB!!!! It is the bare minimum of comon decency.

Their per capita case numbers are really high (probably because no one outside SLC/St. George wears masks) but their per capita death numbers are really low (probably because they are so young & white). Utah’s numbers are really interesting & an outlier on a number of levels.catsrback76 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 4:58 amCould it be that Utah has 3 x's the population of Montana, with a density of population and a total population in Salt Lake City greater than Montana as a state???ilovethecats wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 10:01 pmAnd yet they’re doing worse than us in regards to Covid. Re: Rude People
Utah, being predominantly LDS, MIGHT have something to do with this picture.

Re: Rude People
Careful...you saying stuff like that....I may start to agree with you on other topics too...Cataholic wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 11:50 amI am a conservative who is pro-business. However, wearing a mask is not a big sacrifice. I grew up here as did my wife! She works for MSU at the games and quit today! She was yelled at, told to F' OFF, told to shut up and go away all because a bunch of self centered ass hats could not follow the simple rule the was in place for the mask rule put in place!!!
I would also say BN as a whole is a good group of people having to get to know quite a few members, so casting a blanket on here doesn’t make much sense.
