1987 Montana State University Football versus Sam Houston State

Post by AFCAT » Tue Apr 20, 2021 9:43 pm

I found this old video in my archives. It looks like the video was edited by someone at MSU, so it doesn't include any commercials or other BS. The video is only about 50 minutes long in total but the game is absolutely wild and has an amazing finish. I hope everyone enjoys watching. Have fun.

Oh, I'm sorry if seeing Earl the Pearl in the video upsets anyone or causes any PTSD reactions. Just breath deeply and remain calm.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing that. I love watching these games from the 80s.

Wow, that was fun! If you love big play touchdowns look no further.
That was the first year under Earle and the only win that year.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Thank you AFCAT for posting.
I enjoyed seeing all of the eastern Montana connections in that game.

Mark Page Wolf Point
Shane Quilling and Jerrod Watson from Sidney.
Kenny Lang Miles City Sacred Heart to name few.

I have a game from 1988 that I'll be putting up soon. This 1988 game is fun for a different reason. Absolutely kicked the tail of a team that beat up on MSU the year before.
