Logan Fredericksen commits …

https://406mtsports.com/college/big-sky ... 39f95.html
Maybe 406mtsports should check out this thread as there are 8 commits, not the 6 they listed.
They only omitted Jordan Reed and that's probably because he is a gray shirt.
I have my doubts Taylor Marcum will stay committed. Looks like Boise State is really interested in him, possibly as a walk-on, but Marcum tweets a lot about them.
You might be right. Boise would've put any kind of scholarship offer on the table by this point of a Senior season, so they'll likely end up offering him a walk on spot. Hopefully his offer from MSU has some money tied in.

I get kids being blinded by the bigger school and all, but I'd personally get really annoyed being slow played like that. Keeping him around in case something else falls through.
As fans, we may have the perception of being slow-played, but it's impossible to know what the exact dynamic is between Taylor and the coaches. Maybe he and the coaches talk everyday and he's still a solid verbal. Maybe they have open communication and has told the coaches he's a soft verbal and will jump to boise if offered. Maybe the coaches pulled the offer. Maybe we only offered a walk-on to begin with. Maybe it truly is a slow-play situation.....

We as fans don't know any of that and it's unfair to create a narrative based on outside speculation.

Also, Congrats to Logan on committing to a big time program!

Yeah, you're right. Wasn't trying to create a narrative by any means...especially on a kid's recruiting. Stressful times for those kids.

You hit it on the head. I went through the recruiting process with my son. Everything from D1 interest/looks/visits to offers at all lower levels. He had over 20 scholarship offers. It's incredibly exciting and fun...it's also incredibly stressful and can be disappointing. It's very hard to convince a 18 year old to chase a fit vs a level.

Christian is fast fast. If Christian and Malikye Simpson from Senior decide to join the Cats that would be outstanding. All three of these guys are FAST FAST. I would bet all three are at or near the top of the board.

Is this the 2nd “boom” that hasn’t been announced by the player? Seems I remember Coach V tweeting that and never seeing which player it was…might’ve missed it though.

If it is Anaya, he is a huge get. I am in AZ and this kid plays for a top program in Chandler. He has had interest from some FBS schools.

I’ve never seen better hands on a prep highlight vid.

Why do you say Anaya? I don't see anything on his Twitter?
