Graduated high school early. Graduating from college in 3 years. Leaving is a graduate transfer who saw less time this year on the field when he switched to linebacker but as a sophomore played all 13 games as a safety / nickel. They had three people enter the transfer portal before the last game. Thinking they might want more playing time. Part of the glut of players fighting for limited spots.

Watching his highlight film, looks like a hard hitting spark plug for a defense. Finds himself to the ball and plays a hybrid linebacker slot. Would find an immediate role on the field im sure.

Sorry if this has been discussed, but do you or anyone else know how many more recruits we should expect this year? It's always a moving target and I'd imagine this year is even tougher to get a handle on with the extra year of eligibility. I'd imagine we'll see a fairly decent amount of guys entering the transfer portal too. I'd imagine there are guys who don't see eye to eye with Vigen just like there would be for any new coach but they stuck around this season to see what would happen because they knew the team was loaded.

I'm expecting 24-25 new recruits/transfers with more attrition to happen next spring which could bump new roster turnover to 30 kids by next fall compared to this year's roster. That's my best estimate.

I've seen so many kids entering the transfer portal the past week or so. Maybe I didn't pay as close attention in the past, but I bet it's going to be jam packed this year. So many coaching changes and the majority of the '21 class had to commit to a school without taking visits or even meeting with coaches in person.
