I’ve got a good source that we’ve got a big-bodied grad transfer receiver coming in. “Lance 2.0” hopefully! To temper expectations I will say that he’s going to be moving up in the NCAA division ranks!
Who? Ravi Alston? A bunch of coaches follow him on Twitter. Div 3 receiver.

Ravi's OC at St. Johns is Kole Heckendorf who played for NDSU from 2005-2008. Kole broke the career receptions and receiving yards records for the Bison during his playing career. Brent was of course on staff while Kole was playing. Anyway, there is your connection.

That’s some good sleuthing! I was very curious of the connection.

Bobcat Nation has the best internet sleuths in the nation. Of course, OPSEC is pretty bad these days with social media and all.

How many of this years signees will be enrolled this semester for Spring Ball? I assume both transfers and maybe Jordan Reed?

Class of 2023

Interesting offer. I think his relative (maybe brother) Rajee Nelson is on NDSU’s roster. And NDSU has also already offered Najee.

Nice! Obviously if Vigen likes him he's got some serious potential. Hopefully he comes in, works his A$$ off and earns a spot on the 2-deep!

Yes, It is Alston who I was originally talking about. My buddy is the QB coach at SJU and told me about him a few weeks ago. And then pretty much confirmed it last week. I didn't want to totally leak it out unless something did fall through. Some analysis he heard from a Vikings scout- it sounds like this will be a prove-it year for him to hopefully get a UDFA shot at the NFL. But my buddy is also full of ****** sometimes!

Why not just keep 16 and make that a legendary number?

Anyone know why Tommy switched from 4 at the beginning of the year to 16? I don’t know that he ever wore 4 in a game but he was originally listed on the roster w that number.

Probably because James Campbell also wears #4 and they might be on kickoff coverage or return teams at the same time.
