I thought for sure this was going to be a smaller recruiting class but it certainly isn't turning out that way. I know most of these players are PWOs but I'm guessing the class will be around 30 players when it's all said and done.

The young man visited MSU a few weeks ago.

Also a track athlete but I’m guessing the offer is for football.

He's a 7'3" high jumper. I'm betting he's coming for track & field.

You’d think some of the coaches would be following him if the offer had anything to do with football.

Throwing jump balls in the end zone to a kid with those hops. Seems like an idea worth pursuing.

Was looking at why he left SUU and haven't found anything on it. He played both sports and has 2, maybe 3 years left. Was a junior and used a redshirt year already.

If he’s on a track scholarship and plays football, doesn’t matter if he gets 2 snaps a game, that track scholarship converts to football. He’d have to be very good to be worth it.

Yup. I am wondering what happened and why he wants to transfer. I didn't find anything on Google. I almost think for track he would try to go pac 12 but not sure he'd get the football time he wants. So I'm thinking he wants a better shot at football and we could use a tall wr. As for track, yup check marks on MSU. So I think he may end up a MSU football/ track star. I think we offer the most competitive for both sports.

Never know, which Choate at UT, in a few years this kid could wind up in Bozeman. Regardless, best of luck to him.

That’s a possibility but how many young men have been recruited by MSU, committed to a different team, and then came back a year or two later and played for the Cats? I know there are a few, including Dru Polidore, currently with the Cats. More often than not, that doesn’t happen. Not out of the question though. That’s true, you never know.

Yeah, I think you nailed it. No football coaches following him, so I’ll delete his name.

So. If he isn't a football recruit, can I offer him a nil deal?
