Elliott was amazing. He is going to be a star.
Can you imagine a diamond formation with TA, Ifanse, Hosey and Elliot a few times a game?

Didn't sound familiar so I looked him up. Do we have him for 1 year?

McKay isn’t slow either and he can probably throw better than Troy.

Sorry, guess you can't read my mind  :) Wondering about Nate Stewart.

He is a grad student, so probably only one year. He certainly flashed quite a few times in the 7 on 7 and the scrimmage.

Any initial observations on special teams? Have not heard or read much of anything on the new kickers and punter.

A lot of new faces, with some BIG TIME recruits. If I remember correctly the new freshman punter was nationally ranked out of high school (like top 5 or something crazy).

Also curious who will be returning kicks? Coy steel was killing it in the last playoff run, in this department.

Curious to see how this group performs...

Didn't see any specialist in live situation but both were impressive against air. BJ Robertson talked about Leighton last week on my show, said the ball sounds different coming off his foot.

Elijah Elliott ran back a kick for what would have been a touchdown in the one practice I went to. Elijah is going to be someone special.

Another name I’m curious about, is that freshman LB danny uluilakepa. I remember in the limited action last fall, during some scrimmage stuff, he looked like an absolute star.

Has he been making any noise in spring ball?... sounds like we have a pretty deep group of linebackers.

How is Charles Brown looking? Kid had some electric tape. Should have had lots of time in the weight room at this point after graduating early.

He has been doing some drills, but absolutely nothing during contact in any practices. Was not dressed on Saturday.

One of bobcat99’s faves. He’ll be weighing in, in 5...4...3...2...

I think Nate Stewart and Coy Steel are going to be our 2 best receivers this fall. Brown, Marshall, McCutcheon, Patterson, Estes and Smith will all get theirs too. Brown and Marshall will get the chance to take the top off the defense. Stewart and Smith will be big threats on the outside and in the red zone. Steel is going to be a Kassis/Griebel type reliable go to guy I think.

Sorry! Thought I had notifications set up for his name. I’ve been let down.

Seriously though, haven’t seen any practices so I have no clue. I just like the kid. Seems good to me.
