Vigen's Replacement

Post by FYI » Fri Mar 12, 2021 4:15 pm

I'm always interested to see what it takes for a team to replace the guy we hire away. Usually gives me a broader perspective.
Here's Wyoming's new offensive coordinator.

Tim Polasek

Offensive Line Coach, University of Iowa
Offensive coordinator and running back coach, North Dakota State University
Tight end and fullback coach, Northern Illinois
Grad assistant then running backs, then special teams and recruiting coordinator NDSU
Multi-position coach, passing game coordinator Wisconsin-Stevens Point

Playing career
All time passing leader, Concordia University
Has a Masters Degree

Initial observation--could beat Choate in a stare-down contest.

Not a chance. Too soft. But that’s just my opinion.

Choate would make him crack up and laugh.

It's funny you say "we" hire away like you're a Cats fan and not a Griz troll.

Choate would beat him. Four times in a row.

Completely agree Choate wins the first 4 stare-downs. The last stare-down win by Choate leaves him dazed and confused for months and months. Embarrassing really. For the other guy.

I've been called a lot of things....but this is painful.
