it would be great if Udy and Housewright could work together and develop a unique system combining all their philosophies.

No, that's the wrong thread. That is for the defensive coordinator position announcement.

Oregon starting QB Tyler Shough enters the transfer portal. A good P5 QB who would be a star in FCS.
Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings
What a ride

I wonder if Udy end up being "Pass Game Coordinator" or something along those lines so he doesn't take a pay cut.superbobcat wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 3:50 pmit would be great if Udy and Housewright could work together and develop a unique system combining all their philosophies.

Maybe, but as we all know, that is far from a certainty.

I am glad Udy was given an opportunity to stay. Now if he goes it will be his choice.

Wasn't it Jimmy Buffett that said it's 5 o'clock somewhere. Love that attitude!!!BigBruceBaker wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 5:11 pmSeems like you boys just want me to tell you its 5 o' tha' clock somewheres and it's busch thirty.Montanabob wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 4:05 pmNo, that's the wrong thread. I was going to say this. They owe us. Though we did get a good one in Travis Jonson. I have no beef with Dak trying his skills at the next level. But I love the next level leadership and attitude of Travis. I don't think the coaches that Dak had really developed next level leadership in him.

I am really up in the air on this hire! I really want to be nervous and upset that he didn’t hire an OC with some play calling experience, but then realized Choate hadn’t hired one of those in awhile either!

Vigen has a lot of play calling experience. I imagine he’ll do the play calling here too.spring creek cat wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 7:46 amI am really up in the air on this hire! Doesn't work very well at Nebraska with Frost and Lubick. Head coaches need to let their coordinators do their jobs. I hope Vigen doesn't call plays.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 8:47 amVigen has a lot of play calling experience. "...get in 21 personnel and pound people and take their souls and have fun doing that..." coach Choate
