Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Both Caden and Taco Dowler got offers from Northern Colorado today. I think a few other big sky school will be in the running in the next year (UM obviously, Northern Arizona, Idaho schools)

At first I didn't understand what you meant but I see I did indeed predict the future of kids playing really well in 2021...which is a year that has yet to happen. Fixed and thanks! Re: Montana Recruits 2022
Just curious Vim (or anyone else out there that knows) but I'm wondering about Kaden Hout. I've seen Colter and a couple others spell his name as Kaden Huot and then i've seen some other sports writers on twitter (and now you) spell his name as Hout. Do we know which is correct?
It's also kind of funny that it appears we have multiple sets of twins in class AA (Dowlers in Billings West and the Perkins at Bozeman (brothers of Justus?))

We could say TG makes the freshman wear pink thongs to every practice and you would say, "I'm so glad he left Missoula he tried that here and it didn't work either. LOL LMAF OMG LOL BAE" and whatever else you fruits over in Missoula say -Hi-Line

Its "Huot". And yes the Perkins twins are the "little" brothers of Justus even though they are built almost exactly like Justus.blueandgoldblitz wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 1:06 pmJust curious Vim (or anyone else out there that knows) but I'm wondering about Kaden Hout. Re: Montana Recruits 2022
I believe Kaden’s dad is Tony Huot from Anaconda. He played at Oregon State as a lineman in the 90’s. His uncle is Cory Huot who was a linebacker and team captain for Oregon State. I think his great uncle was Wayne Estes - former All American basketball player at Utah State.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 1:15 pmIts "Huot". Yeah Kaden has been an "athlete to watch" since he was born basically.Cataholic wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 1:44 pmI believe Kaden’s dad is Tony Huot from Anaconda. He definitely has the bloodlines of an athlete....and he shows it.

Nice! Kid sounds like a big time gamer. VIM, do you think he'll end up at receiver for the Cats?
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Re: Montana Recruits 2022
Well he hasn't committed anywhere yet. He's just received an offer from the Cats at this point. His best college position will likely be as a slot WR or cornerback. Or he could grow into a RB role like Logan Jones did. He has a lot of Logan Jones to his game because he's so versatile and makes an impact in all three phases of the game.

Might want to look at that Schlepp kid from Gallatin a bit more. Big kid can catch and run! From what I know he’s a helluva fine young man!

As someone with a very close relationship with Rylan Schlepp (not related at all), I can tell you that he has the makings of what could be a phenomenal tight end at the Big Sky level. Does he need to gain weight in muscle? Absolutely. Does he need to work on the small details of playing the position? You betcha. But for those that don't know, this was his first year of high school football, as he was injured as a freshman and as a sophomore. He was top 7 in the state in receiving (all receivers and was first by TEs by a long shot) and there were at least 2 games where he only had 1 to 2 targets because of gameplan. I've heard Tech offered him before the season began (and remember, he never had played a down of college ball, so those guys know something). I hope the Cats jump on him asap. And, yes, he is an incredibly fine young man.

Schlepp was one of my favorites while calling games this year. HUGE upside if he can stay healthy. Great kid with great hands and feet!!CatBob wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 5:59 pmAs someone with a very close relationship with Rylan Schlepp (not related at all), I can tell you that he has the makings of what could be a phenomenal tight end at the Big Sky level. Cool to see the questionnaire and #trueblue22 thing they are doing to get kids who truly want to be Bobcats!
