It was really a great move. Hauck prepared all week for our linebacker to play quarterback. He was probably pretty dumbfounded when he saw not just our quarterback playing quarterback, but also our running back taking snaps!

Even Better is that DumB knows we run the wildcat, were expecting the wildcat, and still couldn't stop it.

The simple pre-snap shift of Rovig right/left of 3 feet really threw them for a loop. Especially since Rovig was still calling the cadence - they kept focusing on him as the signal caller, even though he never got the ball. Depending on where each defender's eyes were looking pre-snap (motions/gaps/etc.), they may not have even known that it happened.
The pre-snap shift was VERY close to not being set for a full second before the snap, but it was.
It was a simple, but highly effective adjustment. Kudo's to the staff for installing it!

Totally agree. When we were already destroying them on the ground in the first quarter with Logan and others... I kept thinking, OMG and they haven't even seen a fresh Ifanse yet - this isn't going to end well for them. It didn't.
