Lots of great info in this - including updated roster (at least #'s), depth chart heading into Fall Camp, and fall camp dates

Some Observations:
- #1 - Matthew McKay - Jahmad Monroe now #9
- Aaron Gerle (heard got hurt last year - so maybe greyshirting?), Noah Smith, Hunter Parsons, Kade Cutler not listed
- Somehow - someway - all quarterbacks are still here. I thought we'd lose a few
- Transfers (Hehl, Alston, and Webb) all on!
- No way Jace Fitzgerald is 6-4, 260 lbs ...
- Dontae Myrick is coming in this year (#60)

I believe Vigen said there were 4 grey shirts in one of his Cat Chats.

The grey shirt option will become a popular one these next few years as rosters continue to even out their classes which got jumbled up by the extra year of eligibility rule that got put in place last year.

Yeah, I guess those technically count against the 2022 scholarship count. Gotta be tricky to blend those in over the next few years until it gets back to normal.

McKay just wanted his draft pick for a number.
Well, for the CFL.

This is an awesome pocketbook of information - thanks for the link! Kudos to those who put this together.

Alston and Webb seemed to sneak in overnight - thinking both will have a major impact.

Andersen 1,400 yards off the career rushing record. If Eye-fa-nat-see sits Cat-Griz and their 1-1-2-3-2-2 defense, what is the over/under for getting all that in the Brawl?

Just FYI; These press guides have been put out for decades. I actually have a collection of these books spanning from the 1950s through the 1980s. I miss the old printed versions.

If you search ebay, you can find a few versions of the Bobcat press guides from decades past.

Nice. I grew up in Bozeman and wished I would have kept them when I was sneaking under the fence in the South End Zone. We used to dump our bikes in the field and hit the fence - sometimes ever going over the top right before kickoff. I kept all of my guides, including the Spring Games, from '85-'90. Fun to look back on - hard to believe hard much bigger and more athletic the team is now.

#66 Conner Wood has been added to the Missouri roster.
QB Chis Murray no longer shows up on the NAIA Briar Cliff (Iowa) roster. Numbers 1-19 are spoken for.

Still kind of crazy that MSU's like 3rd best lineman transferred to an SEC school.

I corresponded with Chris last year and he told me he was done playing.

Yeah, I had some guides when I was in high school. I remember in the early 80s when the griz had a TV coaches show and every week they asked a trivia question. Obviously, this was pre-internet. One week, they asked a trivia question about Cat-griz and I whipped out my media guides and found the answer. I mailed in my response and my name was announced on TV as the winner of the trivia contest. I was a Bobcat fan at the time but I was stoked to win. My prize was supposed to be a griz t-shirt but the lowlifes at um never sent it to me. I hated them even more after that. I would have probably burned the t-shirt though.

Kade Cutler is grayshirting this year due to surgery.

On the flip side to this, I wonder if you’ll see less redshirts in the next few years. Coaches will probably be less likely to try and preserve a year of eligibility when they’re already logjammed from the covid year.

Looks like the online roster is mostly updated with new pics. Still missing a few, notably our summer transfers.

I saw John Knight still on the roster. Do you know if he decided to stay? I thought he entered the portal. Or am I just completely confused on this one?

No...they haven't deleted him yet. Neil Daily is now #19.

I'm just a fan, so I didn't ask him any personal questions. I owned the jersey he wore in the Cat-griz game in Missoula, the game he did the front flip into the end zone, and I wanted to get it back to him. I compared the jersey with game photos and different marks and popped threads that showed up in the photos perfectly matched up to the jersey. Anyway, I didn't want to potentially mess up any eligibility Chris may have had by giving him a gift, so I asked him about his eligibility and he told me that he was done playing.

I always thought highly of Chris too and still do. Heck, college isn't for everyone and it sometimes takes people a long time to even get the hang of college.

I do wish we all could have watched him play another two years.
