I’m excited to see whet Hosey can do as well. I think he’ll end up being the #2.
I would agree.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 10:50 am
I would not be surprised to see one of the true freshman RB’s crack the depth chart. There are some BEASTS coming in at that position.
It's gonna happen. Not sure we'll be allowed to watch in person but I feel real good about a season. If big time conferences like the Big10 are planning to play, in states much more impacted by the virus as we are, we should plan on playing.94VegasCat wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 9:32 amIf this season does not happen, I’m going to be one raging hot pissed off fan. Not at anyone individual of entity in general but pissed off nonetheless.
6 of 13 FCS conferences have cancelled fall sports. If 50% or more of eligible teams in a particular sport in a division cancel their fall season, there will be no fall NCAA championship in that sport in that division.
Depending how soon the Big Sky makes a decision, I imagine pushing it back is still an option. Depending on how many games are played they could start in 6-8 weeks and probably still be ok.94VegasCat wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 1:19 pmIsn’t practices supposed to have started? Can’t just be expected to show up on gameday if the season even happens?
I thought fall camp was supposed to start two days ago (8/3) or was it next week? Either way I think they might as well just open fall camp next Monday and at worst treat it like Spring practice since they missed out on that. Hopefully by the end of next week there is resolution and they can either ramp up or just continue with "spring" practice.ilovethecats wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 1:36 pmDepending how soon the Big Sky makes a decision, I imagine pushing it back is still an option. What a year....
Fall camp scheduled to start on Friday. I assume that this will still be a go until something changes, which it does not sound like will happen until later in August.coloradocat wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 1:48 pmI thought fall camp was supposed to start two days ago (8/3) or was it next week? coloradocat wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 11:18 amI think his chances of getting drafted or getting a roster spot as an UDFA increase if he stays at MSU through the 2022 season but I doubt he stays that long. He probably needs more than one full season as a LB to get a real shot in the NFL just based on the current scouting environment. I could see the Pats picking him up to play fullback though.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 11:02 amI say hell no. He is going to play in the NFL. No way he or Choate play him only 4 games to have him come back again. 2021 will be his last season as a Bobcat regardless of what happens this season.catatac wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 10:33 amSpeaking of TA. Hypothetically let's say the flat out cancel the season. We already knew he wasn't playing at all (most likely) in 2020. Looking at 2021, let's say he's still healing up and getting to 100%... and we reserve him for just four games, likely Cat Griz and maybe playoffs, and he comes back and plays his entire Sr. season in 2022. Is that doable?mslacatfan wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 8:31 amLet’s talk about bobcat football... something... anything?... if I have to read one more thread or post about people’s political and/or covid viewpoints, I’m gonna lose it. Ha
Just some ideas for discussion topics:
-TA
-defense
-offense
-how many yards will a healthy ifanse have?
-breakout players on offense and D.
-new coaches
-old games
-hell, I would be happy to start up another Garrett Marino discussion at this point, ha.
