But Italy, Spain were both ahead of us in getting hit hard. Had we just followed their post-peak policy, this wave we're in now wouldn't be happening. These are just after the fact things. I won't get into the preparedness and guidebook that was thrown out and vacant bureaucratic positions for things like this.

I am not real up to speed with what Italy, Spain, Germany, Japan or South Korea did. Can you elaborate on the difference with our response?

Do not know alot about them. Company is based in Wisconsin. A growing telecom company. They are also BendBroadband. Close to 1.5 million subs. They are now adding quite a few subs here in the CDA area.

Our provider now is Spectrum but we have a small a la carte package (streaming) that does not carry Root. We will most likely go with a full fiber system with TDS. Their intro package will be a 600/400 and a 125 channel tv package.

Root does have an app for streaming if a person has the "basic Root channel" but it looks like it has not worked for a while. The reviews on the app store give it a 1.2 which sure as heck is not a sterling review.

Thanks for your response. We used to subscribe to Directv, so we had Root. However, the monthly fee that we pay for Hulu, is about half the price that we were paying. The only channel we miss, is Root. We love having all the different apps with our Firetv. We watch Bobcat Football over, and over on YouTube.

The idea probably hasn't died because sports media needs content so they can talk about all kinds of hypothetical scenarios. If they just came out and told the truth they'd have nothing to fill their radio time and/or articles with.

The move to spring seems far-fetched based on what I’ve seen of this virus so far. We’ll keep requiring masks, maybe even keep schools closed. Bars and restaurants will close early. Then in a couple months the numbers will be way down again and we’ll stop doing these things. The weather will be freezing and we’ll be smack dab in the middle of flu season. Numbers will go up, people will panic. They’ll ban family get togethers for holidays and go back to mandatory masks and business closures. Many will be furious while the rest will say it’s the right thing to do and the only choice we have.

I think if people have their way and no football this fall, we’re dreaming if we think people will be ok with it in the middle of flu season.
