I couldn't begin to evaluate an OL at that level, but he's big, so there's that!
Welcome aboard young man.

Yes tough to evaluate at that level. Is it possible he plays DT? What I noticed is he does stick out (huge), he overpowers opponents and at times shows great pop/twitch. Coaches must feel good about his potential offering him this early.
Welcome aboard Jace!

Re: Jace Fisher commits.
Thought Jace was a 2022 recruit for some reason so I missed him. Your classic "developmental big man" prospect. 6'5", 305 lbs. and has some decent functional quickness. He's raw and will need a few years in the weight room to get better in many areas. Jace played 8-man ball for Troy and stood out on film because of the massive size advantage each game. Comparable body to Conor Reitler but Conor was miles ahead of Jace in terms of strength and technique as a junior. Since MSU offered Conor a PWO, I would be very surprised if this offer was a partial.
Anyway, if you're a college football program in Montana, you have to go after the "bigs" in the state wherever you can find them. Congrats to Jace!

You have him on your top 2021 prospects list. I always check that list when I see these commits. I’m sure it’s tough to remember everyone though.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 10:53 amThought Jace was a 2022 recruit for some reason so I missed him. Did Fisher sign somewhere else?
MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: Jace Fisher commits.
COVID made him behind on his core classes. Grades are good, just needs to wait till Feb signing before MSU can accept him.
