That's awesome!! His dad used to be an assistant coach at MSU and played at CC. Eli played QB (2nd team all state) and safety (1st team all state), and led Laurel to the Class A championship game last season. 6-2, 185. Laurel's only losses were to Miles City. 21-16 at home early in the year and 35-7 on the road in the championship.

Eli is the best pure tackler in next year's in-state recruiting class. He's got great size and length for the safety position. Is a force against the run. Shows good range and balls skills in pass coverage. Should be excellent on special teams early in his career. Laurel has a good shot at taking state in Class A next year and Eli is a primary reason why based off his talents on both sides of the ball. Great addition!

I’ve only seen him in b-ball. Tough, physical kid. Has the right, tough, football type attitude as well. Good, strong athlete. I’d say good pickup!

Oh, that's right. Forgot that he was a 2021 commit since he committed in the heat of the 2020 recruiting period. Glad to have them both on board!

This kid is a mean machine at safety. Could come in around 6-3, 210.

I would put him in a similar category as Konkol coming out of high school. He is the best athlete in the class so he ends up playing QB, but his strongest position is safety. Great early commit for the Cats!
