Cole Sain signs
Sain is a three star out of St. John bosco. He played on state championship team with Level Price. Tyrell Thomas was a Senior there when Sain and Price were juniors.
His dad and uncle played here. He originally signed at UM with Hauck. Transferred shortly after.

Recruited by Stitt during 2017. Signed with Hauck's 2018 class. Made the 2-deep as a true freshman if I'm not mistaken. Things went sour in 2019 for some reason. Anyway, glad he's on the roster! Very versatile as an offensive lineman. I see him as a LG.iaafan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 9:45 amSain is a three star out of St. John bosco. He played on state championship team with Level Price. Yes. Was at UM one year and by end of freshman season seeing playing time. And egriz was commenting on the Sacramento State offer to Sain if they would see him again. Does anyone know the story of why he left um? I'm not looking to gossip or looking for anything salacious. I'm just curious as I'm sure most everyone here is.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 10:35 amYup. Transferred in Winter/Spring 2019 from UM. UM is the university equivalent of Axe Body Spray and essential oils.

Re: Cole Sain signs
I don't have any inside info, but I think he was mostly recruited by Stitt. He signed with Hauck, but Stitt's staff did most of his recruiting. I just assume the issue is that it wasn't quite what he expected.Cledus wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 11:28 amDoes anyone know the story of why he left um? Re: Cole Sain signs
I think once Hauck came in he found out he'd have to spend an entire season preparing to play against Troy Andersen so he left. When the opportunity came up to play on the same team as Troy he jumped at the chance.Cledus wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 11:28 amDoes anyone know the story of why he left um? In reality he was probably just a casualty of the regular coaching change turnover that happens everywhere (see MSU when Choate was hired).
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I’m curious about why he left, too. UM was weak in the OL, still is. You’d think that was a great opportunity for him, regardless of who’s the coach.

Re: Cole Sain signs
someone on Egrizz said he didn't mesh with OL coach but was getting playing time and on depth chart at end of season.
