NFL draft

Post by mslacatfan » Sat Apr 25, 2020 9:29 am

Well today is the day that it could happen for our guys.... sterk and Brott have the best shot at getting drafted, with several guys potentially being FA pick ups.

Any guesses at which round Sterk or Brott will get picked up?

Sterk- I’m guessing round 6...

Brott- I’m hoping late pick round 7.... but odds are he will be a FA pick up.

Go cats

Would be cool.

Have any FCS players been taken yet?

I see one from S. Illinois.

Two from D3 schools. St. Johns and Lenoir Ryne.

I'm saying Kassis goes in round 7, as Mr. Irrelevant. Brott and Sterk sign UFA contracts.

Don't forget the DB from Dayton, pioneer league's best ever draft pick.

Guessing Derrek Tuszka from NDSU should be 6th round.

Gonna set a record for least FCS picks at this rate. Only 3 so far and only one n a half rounds to go.

Brott has better tangibles than several of these o-lineman that are being drafted. Why gamble on guys with off the field problems. Then again signing as a free agent with a team in need, might be better

With as many scouts in the NFL, they do a terrible job of evaluating the FCS players in my opinion

Lack of team visits due to coronavirus are hurting the small school guys.

Probably. That really sucks, but like auto says FA is better in a way.

I’m kind of surprised to see no Big Sky picks, so far. 7th round, 246 picks in.

Then the Vikings pick a guard from Washburn University (Who?). I know nothing about Washburn but I guarantee Brott is better than him.

I thought the same thing when I saw that pick.
