The key paragraph. Looks nice, but nobody knows the true numbers.

“ There’s no standard reporting practice mandated by the Department of Education, so if one school counts donations that go toward football tickets as football-specific revenue and another puts that in the general athletic fund, there’s no way to account for that. All we know is the numbers the DoE spits out.”

It's governmental accounting. No one outside the program knows the real numbers. Do they count Bobcat athletic club? Do they count quarterback club? Every school plays by their own rules.

Well, if dUMb counts $ like they count tackles, any buck that passes within 5 yards of the football program gets counted.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

What story do you want to tell? The opposite could also be true.
