Not sure who it was that Brott and Jones locked up. Wonder if he got credit for a tackle?
It was Dante Olson from the looks of it. Any two players should be able to block one guy. But they did take him out with impunity.
If it was Dante Olson than he definitely got credited with a tackle

Getting pancake blocked into the opposition’s bench has to be demoralizing. He was pushed back a good 10 to 15 yards from point of contact. Can anybody make a gif of those 3 seconds? That would be awesome!

He officially got 2.5. One for Brott, one for Jones, and 1/2 for touching a Bobcat player on the sideline. It would have been 3 if the player on the sideline had been holding a ball.

Huh? He got bonus points for hitting the guy holding the sticks, a bobcat fan .

I don't think it was Olson, I think he is chasing the play from the backside at the end. He is within 5 yards so, he does get an assist.
After I got up, I asked who hit me and was told #10. They have a kid from Helena who is #10 and is a linebacker so, maybe he was in the game that play? His last name is Welnel.

The MOST important thing shared about this incident is that Olsen got "an assist" on the tackle by being within 5 yards of the play.

Watched the play on a big-screen tv and in High Definition. It appears the blocked player was 33, the kid out of Townsend, can't remember his name.

Might have been Jace Lewis. He is the kid they are touting for the Buck Buchanon award next year.. Add that play to the highlight reel!
That's the name.
It was definitely Dante Olson. I’ve watched it 100 times on my big screen. 33 plain as day. Lewis is 34 and in the middle of the field. Maybe I’m missing the joke and stating the obvious?

You are probably right. I Couldn’t see the Griz number because the guy was getting buried by two Bobcats.

Yes, 34 was trailing the play and got credit for a half-tackle.
I thought 33 was Lewis and 34 was Olson but, since they are Griz I didn't pay very much attention. Give a ****** factor was very low!

Are you guys blind It was Olson
The kid from Townsend, he sprinted to the locker room at the end of the game, like as fast as he could no lie
At least Olson stayed around and shook a few hands at the end of the beat down
Yeah, it's going to get pretty boring the next couple weeks. Here's something to go check out. Cut to the 33:45 mark of this video and check out the blocking by Jones and Brott.
Just watched the entire replay, the postgame interview with Logan Jones is my new favorite thing. Hahaha!!
