There are currently only four numbers retired. Is there a number you think should be added to the list?

Right there with you, although I started the year before and endured The Big Human's 0-11 campaign.

Number 10. Only four time All American in MSU history. Also Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year.

I don't think so, simply because football roster sizes don't allow too many numbers to be taken out of circulation permanently and there are already quite a few "double numbers" on the roster as it is. The current set of retired numbers does a really nice job of celebrating the historical success of MSU's football program, and I think there are other ways to implement more modern jersey number traditions (such as #41) that celebrate players without limiting availability.
