From Egriz "Recruiting Central"

"Minaya Olivo and Elijah Elliott both to msu, why the hell msu needs 3 3 star RBs is beyond me".

Because we do.
They are “concerned” about our running backs because they know they cannot stop them. They should be “concerned.”

My guess is you won't since it cost money to get in.

I highly doubt you will see a video of the entire event. Choate told some stories and commented on things that I’m sure they won’t be put out in a video. There may be a highly edited version.

Interesting to me that they have Reimer rated higher than Reed and Reed as a DT. I also must have missed the Thomas Marcus transfer.

The Thomas Marcus transfer never happened. I would heavily advise you guys not to trust anything from 247Sports when it comes to recruiting analysis. Sure...they will track a few recruiting visits correctly but overall they don't update the page efficiently or effectively throughout the year.

A lot to take away from that, and maybe the biggest thing is that it's not a very good overall representation.

First of all, this is kind of an aggregate ranking, so the more players a team gets the higher their score goes, which is the basis of the ranking. If you look at the average score of the recruits, Sac St actually got the best, followed by Portland St and then MSU. Even with that I don't put a ton of stock into it, because that would put Idaho in last for average, with Weber 2nd to last, and UM 3rd to last. I'd have a hard time believing those are the three worst recruiting classes in the conference.

Second, this doesn't include most of the MT kids since they're not getting ranked on 247. Mellott and Grebe are on there, but there are a few other gems who will be every bit as good as the ranked ones on the list.

Third, did UC Davis leave the conference?

How about Cal Poly, too. These rankings mean next to nothing unless the teams and entire conference is recruiting players that all have a numerical rank or number of stars to their name. Even then it's all subjective to who is grading their performance.

Maybe this is Baldwins way of surprising the BSC next year by not releasing or not letting his recruiting information out (kidding). I will be interested to see if there is any coverage on their spring ball happenings. Basically, if Baldwin is going to immediately turn the offence from triple option to three and four wide on every play next season.
