I think it's going to be Troy as a player and coach. He'll be the OC and then run out and play LB on D.

The longer time frame makes me think the opposite. That instead of staying in house or going with a known candidate, they're doing a more traditional search process - taking applications and interviewing multiple candidates potentially multiple times before making the hire.

It definitely sounded that way to me. Can't imagine it's Messingham, who else has left here since Choate took over?
