Looks like we need a new OC. Matt's going to Boise as receivers coach.

Hopefully we get one with some experience at the position this time. I thought Matt did well but it would nice to have someone come in who knows exactly how to do the job and but the ground running.

Junior made over $400,000 last year as UW's WR coach. He would be throwing away roughly $300,000 for an OC position at his alma mater. Not happening.

I think this is a great opportunity to upgrade the OC position. I hope Choate hires someone with the experience to generate a creative game plan and TO COACH/DEVELOP QUARTERBACKS.

Thanks to Coach Miller for his many contributions to the Bobcat football program. I wish him all the best.

Dmac and Dennis as Co-OC's. Don't laugh, it could happen.

That is actually a pretty good idea. I could see it happen.

Everyone wants an experienced OC, but that is hard to come by in FCS. If you want to hire an experienced OC, you are looking at guys from a lower division, other FCS programs or FBS castoffs. We just can’t pay enough to bring in an OC from an FBS program. Those guys make more than Choate.

Dennis loves Bozeman and misses coaching. He was like a fat kid in a candy shop, last fall at practice.

I agree. He was really into it. The kids respect the heck out of him

It’s a bummer losing Miller, I don’t think there is any denying it. He really came around as the season went on and that offense was clicking. I was looking forward to seeing the offense in its second full year under him. And I’d love to have a coaching staff to be intact two years in a row for once.

BUT...this would be great. This guy has more football experience than the rest of the staff combined. It’s hard not to listen when a National Championship winning coach is talking.
Hope this is a real possibility and happens.

Ash seemed to be able to hire good OCs.

Happy for Miller, I think hes a really good young coach. And I'm sure he will be getting a pay raise for the move, plus more opportunities in the future.

Not sure if I'm ready for Denarius, not saying that its a bad idea I just don't know enough about his progress as a coach.

Really sorry to see him go. Was hoping to get one more year out of him, but I get it. We are so close to a championship level team , my gut tells me Coach will look for experience to run the offense. I don’t know what to think about McGee being ready or not. The offense would at least show consistency. Timing is crucial for Coach Choate. I do know I trust his decision.
