When looking at the construction via the web cam, the left side/upper level has no structure (steel) to support a roof. Why is that?
Norcal Cat wrote in an earlier post: The steel columns west of the stairs are there to support the tall parapet that wraps around and conceals some of the rooftop HVAC units.
I think the area he is talking about is just above the stairs and to the right as you view it from the camera. There is no cross members in this roof area yet to hold up the corrugated steel sheeting that supports the roof. I don't know if they need this opening to crane some items into the building? It will be interesting to see how the roof gets constructed as to can it hold spectators?
I was watching on the cam when they filmed that. I was wondering what they were doing.
They played this same video during halftime of the WBB game yesterday and I was looking around the website for it. I also stumbled across this, has anyone else seen this?

There's a locker for Conner Firstman. That's awesome! Hopefully it gets funded fully soon. Very touching.

It will be very interesting to see how they integrate this fantastic facility into the expansion of the North End Zone to maintain views and functionality. It is definitely different than what is portrayed in the Master Plan.

At the rate this is going, we probably won’t have to worry about that for about 15-20 years.

I am not seeing the roof top tailgating area set up yet. That would be a great receiving area

Travis here with Martel is an MSU Alum and a really good guy. He was pretty excited to be a part of this project and is a big Bobcats fan. Glad he is part of it.

I could tell he was pretty excited about the process! That is awesome. We all build our own Bobcat legacy!

I drove up to Bozeman to check out the construction and get a chicken sandwich at the Roost. I forgot to take a photo of the sandwich, but here are some pics of the construction.

It looks like the Sonny Holland statute is looking at the project and clapping. Thanks for the updated photos.

With the spring season being canceled this building should be constructed without ever having to host a football game and work around the construction. What a great silver lining with everything that has happened. Timing is a weird thing sometimes.
