Does anyone know what they will do with the video board? is the complex just going to fit behind and under it and they keep it in the same place? I would like to see a new, larger board as this one is getting a little outdated.
Are you thinking like the Cowboys Stadium? What we have now is still a Huge upgrade from what we did have, a 42" rear projection TV that was tied to the old score board. Guessing probably one of the best in the Big Sky.

Ha, that would be quite the sight if we put in a screen the size of the Cowboys...I am well aware of what of what this current board replaced. There has been a lot of advancement in the technology of video boards since we put the current one in. The new screen in the fieldhouse is amazing. The new video board they put in over in Missoula would be something I would like to see.

Will it have suites on top? or at lest some SRO viewing of games on top?

Are endzone suites even a thing??
I'm hoping for a beer garden and a restraurant done better than Casey's in Whitefish kind of like what is in the cheap seats in Coors Field on top. Would be perfect for a beer sampling similar to the wine tastings MSU sponsors occasionally...like every game...that's occasionally.

Any new screen should be mounted on the south end to minimize the sun factor.

No matter where it goes, it is definitely time to upgrade our screen. The one we have has been great, but it is time for it to go. Would be great if we could get a big time donation from Learfield like UM did.

But then I'd have to turn around to see it. [-(

I was hoping to see a taller structure, so that you could overlook the field from windows on the top floor, even after end zone seats are added. That would be sweet! But it's probably not very practical to have a 4-5 story building, Idk.
Even if its only two stories it can be designed to add additional floors later. I hope they take that into consideration in the design.
According to the Facilities Plan, this has been considered. It specifically mentions that a "Super Suite" structure could be built on top of the athletic complex building when new north end zone seating is built.

Guess I'm still impressed with the upgrade from the old. Your right on the fieldhouse screen, amazing how that and the sound system makes that place feel updated. Wonder if they could retro fit new screen?

We will have to get two screen's. One in each endzone.
We can't let Coloradocat get a kink in his neck.

I was hoping the side that would be seen from the stadium would be reflected windows for two purposes: 1) to reflect crowd/field on gameday 2) the windows would overlook the field.

An addition, nearly 5,000 square feet, may be a possibility if a contract can be worked out with a local healthcare provider to lease the space and offer clinic services.

You beat me to it. I liked the 2nd, or was it the 4th rendering? If I was going to bet, the GC will have 6 different blueprints and just come up with a combination of those 6.

That seems like an odd looking building to put basically in the stadium.

MSU wants to update their student wellness and healthcare services. There was an article about it a few weeks ago in the Chronicle.

Wow, yeah I think that's the same building. I kinda hope it's a mistake on the website if I'm being honest. I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever but that doesn't look right.
