I think the best thing to do is beat it down this time. Already saw what being hesitant does. If you rush everyone back to work there’s a good chance that it just starts back up again and makes the economy worse than it would’ve been.

Lots of experts expecting coronavirus to return in September after cycling through the Southern Hemisphere. Very important to do everything we can now to make that return minimal.
Cases in Montana have been slowing down the last couple days. Hopefully that continues. If we bear down the next couple weeks in could be a big step.

Everyone should expect that it will return and plan accordingly. Obviously we need to get through the current pandemic first, but I hope people aren't just expecting everything to be back to normal this summer and that's the end of it. I'm 50/50 on fall/winter sports this season. Just hoping that they can plan and we can watch on TV. I'd settle for that at this point.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2020 1:45 pmLots of experts expecting coronavirus to return in September after cycling through the Southern Hemisphere. 50,000 people died of pneumonia last years and nobody gave a rats
Don't even start the project, a few workers could get pneumonia and die

You don't die from the virus, you die from the pneumonia it causes. I agree, put the project of for a couple months.

Remember folks, the important thing is not when construction begins but when it ends. We all love seeing visible and immediate signs of progress, but something tells me that whether they start now or wait a few months for the COVID-19 situation to improve, the building will still be done in time for the scheduled Summer 2021 opening.

Costello was commenting on "Dear Montana State" video that he's expecting some excavation to start by early May. Looking forward to it!

Utah's new stadium expansion is underway and moving along everyday. I don't see any issues with ours moving forward.

Yep. Despite some guesses there is zero reason why construction wouldn’t start on this. I swear to god there’s construction on every block/street I drive on in Bozeman!AFCAT wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 10:12 pmConstruction will be underway, in a few days. They did a virtual online groundbreaking a few days ago.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 9:15 pmUtah's new stadium expansion is underway and moving along everyday. Re: Bobcat Athletic Complex...Construction
My guess is the only reason it hasn’t already started is the construction company was tied up elsewhere. Just a guess though because I have absolutely no idea what the construction company’s workload is.ilovethecats wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 10:53 pmYep. There is a reason and it is not related to Covid 19 directly or construction company backlog. Expect an announcement very soon.catsrback76 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 11:31 pmThat's great!ilovethecats wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 10:53 pmYep. Re: Bobcat Athletic Complex...Construction
Since 85 to 90% of the deaths are folks over the age of 70 and not too many folks on this construction crew are likely to be over 70 I think we can start up anytime... and generally I don’t see the crew huddled up too close together.... so probably good social distancing.
Remember, still have about 12,000 deaths a week from heart disease in the U.S. which is higher than Covid.... so I suppose we could defer construction until the construction crew all gets their blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol, fitness level up to snuff.
So with Covid, normal flu, pneumonia, and general health conditions we might be breaking ground by........... well...by never.
