Here is my first try. These are a few screenshots of the Complex plans so quality will be a little iffy. If this works and people find them interesting I can post some more.

There's an elevation plan on sheet A4-02, but I can't quite make it out on my phone.

So ground breaking was supposed to occur last week. Has work started?

The plans show 1st to 2nd floor is 16'-0". 2nd floor to upper roof structural steel is 14'-0". Wall parapets appear to be 2 to 3-ft above the roof steel, making the building 32 to 33-ft tall. The upper roof structural steel is perfectly flat with all roof slope for drainage done by varying the depth of the rigid insulation placed over the roof metal decking. This indicates to me that the structure is designed for a future 3rd story (only over the 2-story part of the building).

i'm missing seeing the stairs to the roof. That will be prime standing room / bbq / tailgating area for a few years. Or is it designed for the Board of Regents helicopter landing area?

Again, I would expect a minimum 30-60 day delay before work begins. No Easter start ups or earlier. If I'm honest I would be surprised if it starts before June1. Just my 2 cents.

What’s your rationale? Coronavirus? I see no reason why that would effect the early steps of this construction Project. Site prep should allow workers to keep their spacing. I see construction jobs with multiple workers. Plus, I haven’t seen anything from MSU stating there’s a delay. MSU typically gets that out.

Construction has been classified as essential here. I do think supply chains could get interrupted down the line, but I don't see that being an impediment to getting started, especially since there's demolition and dirt work to do for a couple months at least.

Yes, CV-19 is my rationale and the chart below gives perspective. Watch the last month rise in the U.S. and imagine another 30 day rise. Even MSU will be dealing with the ramifications of further shut downs. I would like to believe all will be well for construction to start, but I am skeptical. But, I am dealing with the issue while trying to build in Europe and I'm shut down currently as well.

Alright I don't want to get political here, but do you think it just disappeared in China? If so, why aren't they helping the rest of the world figure out their magic formula for making it go away suddenly? I'm not sticking up for our leadership because we were about two months late taking this thing seriously, but China has lied about this thing from day one, so I don't buy the fact that it's basically gone there.

Read March 24 article in Business Insider. I wouldn’t put it past the Chinese government to fudge their numbers, but I tend to think it’s under control there due to the culture.

It’s not a big secret how China got it under control. It’s a very strict government and the people are accustomed to that and to the threat of viruses. Americans would freak out if we did some of things they did, like punishing people who don’t disclose their travel history.

So I wonder where/how they will relocate the corporate tailgate spots?. Across Kagy into the practice field?
