Yeah, super sweet facility. I do have to admit it is a bit strange to have a big bank of windows looking out at the field from the training room though. "Hey folks, come watch us get taped up before the game!"

I assume this means the bill is dead?
Assuming you just posted this in the wrong thread? I hope.

That is a little bit weird, but nice that it's at field level for a lot of reasons. Nice for practices and somebody getting taped quick and heading back out. Nice for games where somebody has to get hauled straight in with help or on a gurney. Ultimately nobody will be able to see in during day games--there will be too much reflection on the glass since it will be brighter outside. Even during night games, the stadium lights will probably be brighter than the lights inside. I don't think anybody will ever know what's on the other side of the glass just by looking from the outside.

I believe eventually there will be bleachers installed between the north end zone and the BAC that will obstruct the first level windows to a degree. However, there will probably be some space between the two like a breezeway due to the angle of the stands.

Unless some whale comes in with a huge donation, we aren't going to see any permanent North end zone seating for probably close to a decade. It's taken over four years of planning, fund raising ($18 mil), and construction to get the BAC built. The indoor facility and East grandstand re-build are probably next on the list and those will cost tens of millions of dollars.
I don't care about the training room windows, just an odd design choice.

Do you think the windows will be tinted, or perhaps something like a 2 way glass on there?

350ish days a year there are no games. What a great view for the student athletes to look out at.

Maybe the training room windows are to remind them of the Montana weather and how it changes every 15 minutes so they can add more time onto their workout to wait for the next change.

They should be done by the time the sun comes up, so the windows won't make much difference.

I agree about the building size. It looks enormous from the outside, but it seems even much larger when you walk through it. I really can’t wait to see it when it is done. It will be a game changer.
BTW, I asked Bo Moos how it compared to the griz so called Champions Center. He said this building dwarfs um’s and now we are competing with the Wyoming’s, etc. in our region. Definitely a primo facility.

The new building really gives the stadium a more enclosed feel. Not so much from the east stands due to the gap in the NW corner that you look towards, but from the west side and the end zone it definitely feels more enclosed. And it should help with the crowd noise, too.

Leon also said the new scoreboard will be in the North end zone and on the current pillars but he didn't say when it would be installed. I'm guessing the earliest we would see the new scoreboard would be the 2022 season.
The donor wall in the main atrium is also going to be pretty cool. The donor names will be etched in steel and illuminated somehow from behind.
The hydro therapy tubs include hot and cold plunge pools and a big pool with an underwater treadmill and cameras that will help athletes recover from injuries.
There are also smaller locker rooms for the officials on game day and other male and female Bobcat athletes that are working out or going through treatment at the BAC

Great tour! Huge facility and well thought out.
Lot of good comments already by others. I also liked that Bozeman Health will have full time staff on site open to all university employees, athletes for treatment and physical therapy. And allow expansion of the study center in the Brick when football moves out which has been needed for a long time.

One funny comment that I remember from Costello. Choate wanted the weight room to be like a dungeon, enclosed and dark, but Vigen likes the open and airy feel that they ended up going with.

Having worked out in both environments and everything in between; I much prefer the open and bright environment. The dungeon is cool for a few weeks and then gets old and starts to smell.
