NDSU-JMU

I'm glad I'm not a JMU fan because they are throwing this game away. They can play with NDSU but what
STUPID mistakes they keep making. You have NDSU 2nd and 19 on their own goal and you grab the QB by the facemask??

Then you have NDSU about to kick a field goal, knowing they rarely kick them, and you are completely caught off guard
when NDSU fakes it and scores a TD.

UGH. I am so sick of NDSU!

JMU is making a game out of it finally, next to Illinois St. probably the best match up for NDSU.

This entire game has been based on the QBs running. How have they not adjusted. It's like 90% of all the offense. If that was all it took we should have stuck with Andersen. McKay can't get here fast enough...

And just like that, they go to it one too many times...

I don’t like the play call. They had 2 plays with the 1 timeout. I think they could have ran it in.

As an MSU fan, I'll admit I've probably had a little bit of an inferiority complex when it comes to NDSU. They're just so good. But today on ABC during the game, I learned North Dakota's state beverage is milk, and I realized there is no reason for any of us here in Montana to feel anything but pride that we're not North Dakotans.

Agreed, run it once then throw a slant or something, or run it twice, but don't call that. Waaayyy too telegraphed and too much defensive speed in too small an area for that to work.

So now we know the secret sauce to NDSU losing. Stop the QB! 8)

NDSU plays at Oregon to start next season. I wouldn’t be surprised if they win.

Impossible. Can't win if the quarterback has to run it 30 times and they only throw it 10 times. Have to have a balanced attack and be able to throw it down the field. Plus the offensive coordinator can't call stupid plays...

That’s going to be a fun game to watch. NDSU is not going to miss a beat next year especially on the offensive side...they return their top 2 WRs, their No. 2 and 3 RBs and Seth Wilson (who was projected to be their best back this year before suffering a season ending injury in the offseason), return 4 of 5 OL, and of course their QB.

Right. And Oregon loses Herbert. Not sure who’s returning for OU. The game gives NDSU something to play for, so I’m sure they’ll bring their A game. The Grizzlies only lost 35-3. Using transitive properties NDSU blows them out.

Mentioned this on another thread...what do we have to do to beat these guys? As fans...keep supporting the team by contributing to facilities upgrades....Also I'm thinking we get a home and home with the Bison would help...see what we can do with a game in Bobcat Stadium.

Coach Choate - Keep amping up recruiting.....anything else?

Definitely like a home and home. That way if we end up playing them again in the playoffs, we can make adjustments from the season game to the playoff game, which helped Ill state, playing them twice in the same season.

Anyone know the reasoning behind The Buffalos not wanting to move to the FBS? Does Trey Lance field FBS offers with the new transfer rules? He has 3 years to play and is and is way too talented for the FCS. Without Lance I think they would have lost games this season. He is significantly better than Jensen Wentz and Stick. Maybe with the Gophers getting better they lose some recruits but this is getting a little ridiculous.

I agree that it's getting a little ridiculous. I wish they would move up.
But I think there's more to consider - which conference takes them? What is the additional financial outlay? Do they need a bigger stadium? They must move up in the other sports too.....can they do that.....what is the additional cost there?
But I agree, based on football they should move up.
