Bryce Leighton plays in the Under Armour All-American game tonight, and he will be the first Montana State HS recruit (not talking transfers) to play in the game.

Not sure how much they punt in the game, but he'll be there! Tune in to ESPN tonight at 4.

If you look at the roster. Leighton is in pretty good company.

Should we be concerned that he is only "committed" as opposed to "signed"?

He was part of signing day. I assume ESPN just hasn't refreshed everyone. There are a lot of other "committed" players as well.

He's the only player not going to a Power 5 school!

These recruiting sites aren't great at the FCS level.

If anybody gets a chance to watch the game, maybe you could post what you saw here. It would be greatly appreciated.

His first punt went for 53 yards, but it was a shorter kick that got a good bounce and roll after not being fielded by the returner.

Caught a glimpse of someone (Leighton's Mother?) wearing a Montana State sweatshirt.

It was a good punt, lots of talent on the field tonight. Guessing a experience he won't soon forget.

53 yards, no return. Nice. And good to know that punters are being strongly recruited and not an afterthought like so often. An excellent punter is a necessary piece of a championship team. Good job coaches.

Heard a comment during one of the bowls new years day that one of the power 5 punters was (1 of 45) kickers recruited from Australia, would assume this is a big reason why we were able to bring in a kid like Leighton. Pretty freaking cool for MSU
