Re: 2019 Redshirts
Jaden Smith will have a great season at WR.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Re: 2019 Redshirts
Good question:
I remember hearing good things about TJ Sessions, OL, during fall camp.
Blake Schmidt, DL, came in with a lot of hype.
Has Eric Zambrano played enough that his redshirt is used up?
I would say these players will compete for time in the 2-deep/start:
1.) DeMarius Hosey, RB
2.) Jaden Smith, WR
3.) Tyrone Marshall, WR (played quite a bit - still got his redshirt?)
4.) Caleb Mancini, K
6.) Rylan Ortt, S (Defensive Scout POW)
I believe these guys will get some play time - and are right on the cusp - just need more time to develop (Usually OL/DL/TE)
1.) Ryan Lonergan, TE
2.) Holden Sampson, OL
3.) Jacob Kittles, OL
4.) Cole Oster, LB
5.) TJ Sessions, OL
6.) Blake Thelen, QB (Offensive Scout POW) — you never know haha
___Other young guys (Sophomore of Freshman that may contribute a lot more___
1. Joe McElroy, OL
2. Seer Deines, DL
3. Mark Estes, WR
…In other words we have a lot of young talent I'm excited about

I really hope we move him back to defense. I think he could definitely be a problem for a lot of offenses if he was back playing defense. Kid is a beast.

What about the kid from Lewistown. I saw him play Belgrade last year. Before I knew we offered him. And my thought that game was "I hope the Cats are looking at this dude"

Re: 2019 Redshirts
I think he is a developmental guy who could possibly compete down the road. I could be wrong, but I don't see him as a guy who sees the field much as a freshman.

Re: 2019 Redshirts
I mean...he still is a speed demon. Just because you're fast doesn't automatically mean you will be a starter-level corner as a true freshman. A redshirt season is perfect for a kid like Elijah to add weight and strength.
