Good for him!
If MSU had fake classes for athletes as do many FBS schools instead of expecting real academic work, he’d have still been a Bobcat. The Flip! Thanks Chris.

Happy to see him still working towards a goal, school and athletics. Giving himself a 2nd chance is better than giving up. It would be fun to watch him play again, Good Luck Mr. Murray.

Best of luck to him. No matter what, just remember that he was 2-0 against UM. As good as Sneed was, he was 0-2 against the Cats.

He's going to run for 3000 yards in a season at the NAIA level.

Re: Murray to play NAIA
I agree he'll do well, because he's got a lot of athletic ability and talent, but I can't discount the edge he had running behind the MSU OL. The gap between the OL and the opposing teams DL is a huge factor.

This.
I will be very curious to see the numbers he can put up, it should be ridiculous. Good for him!

Jody Owens is the D-Coordinator at Briar Cliff.
Good luck Chris! I hope you succeed on the field, and in the classroom.

The Griz couldn't stop Chris, how these NAIA teams gonna do it with only 24 scholarships?

Re: Murray to play NAIA
Don't get your hopes up too soon. Like I said earlier, if he has a real good OL and the team is a run first team, like he had at MSU, he'll do great. He can't do it all by himself. No one can.

Crazy legs Murray can!
He is gonna tear it up at that level. He's already the fastest player in the country in NAIA right now.

Good luck to Chris. It’s great he gets a chance to play the game he loves but here’s to him obtaining a degree and learning a life lesson and an appreciation to getting a second chance
