Hardest to replace
Offense. Ifanse, Just brings a little more to the running back position.
Defense. Bryce. He gives you a spark. This one is actually harder, much closer choice when you throw in Konkol and Hill.

Re: Hardest to replace
I wasn't picking seniors. Maybe I should have made it most valuable.

Marks, he is very adept at figuring out the OL play, and makes the rest of the DL go

Re: Hardest to replace
I would say, the whole senior class, lots of leadership, they had to make the coaching transition. Some could have folded, but they bought in and look at where they are now, playing in the semi finals.

Re: Hardest to replace
Offense: Jones - one of my favorite all time RB's for the Cats. He has the best burst/balance to the outside (and super toughness for his size). He is a big reason the offense is moving the chains so well due to all their motion and tough inside to outside runs with him. The LB's and safeties have to account for him every play. I am so glad he was able to come back. The good thing is we may have a couple guys behind him that are Jones clones (so maybe not hardest to replace, but going to miss his play a lot).
Defense: Marks - Tough and very smart player. He is way undersized for a DT, but he gets by that with speed/strength/pad level, and smarts. He seems to be around every play (fumble recoveries) as well.

Re: Hardest to replace
Offensive side: Mitch Brott- he’s been a lockdown tackle
Defense: Bryce Sterk - he has been the guy that head and O-line coaches have to game plan for
The productivity these guys bring is likely severely undervalued on both sides, we’ve been really spoiled as fans to have them. Looking at our current roster, I’m not sure I see anyone that replaces either of them well, let alone that can replace them without a drop off...

Hold thy tongue!
In all seriousness, I don't see him going anywhere until Jory graduates.
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Re: Hardest to replace
Maybe he stays if we don’t build the athletic center in the north end zone and just give him the $18 million to stay.

Re: Hardest to replace
Ha, I'm sure that would do it. Maybe phase 2 needs to be to raise $2 million to keep Choate, and then move on to the indoor practice facility after that...
