Once it's blown dead, I don't think they could review it. If a fumble isn't called a fumble on the field, you can't review it if I'm not mistaken. Referees should default to a fumble call and let it play out, then call it back after a review because you can't do it the other way.

Sure you can, it happens all the time. the noly think is that if it is blown dead, the recovering teams gets it at the point of recovery, Need to be able to show a clear recovery though

This! I thought the whistle was the biggest mistake, but still the red birds would get the ball at the point of recovery. But to compound it in top of things by not even reviewing it. Awful

You have to assume this game being on espn vs ours on espn 3 they had to have a stronger camera crew and officials. And to think in our game they reviewed like 6 plays.

Happened to us just last night! #10 was ruled down and no fumble, but the review over turned it and gave the call to APU.

Absolutely agree with you. The sad part is that those crews are supposed to be the top in their respective conferences

I thought the crew we had for the Albany game was pretty good. Stayed out of the way and mostly let everyone play.
